This incredible design by local artist Sabracadabra, appears front and back of this long sleeve, organic cotton white tee.
The intricate drawing depicts the strength, resilience and determination shown by those living with chronic illness and often invisible disability.
We have had this t-shirt produced to raise awareness of rare conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. £5 from each t-shirt sale will go to EDS Support UK - the only UK charity to offer support to people touched by all types of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
We had never heard of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome until we met Loretta and went on to discover her incredible @the.nil.by.mouth.foodie account. Loretta is one of around 13,000 people in the UK that has been diagnosed with this condition - a condition which affects the body's connective tissue in different ways depending on the type of EDS.
It's not one condition. In fact EDS is a group of thirteen individual genetic conditions - complex syndromes often affecting many systems of the body at once, despite this EDS is often an invisible disability. Symptoms commonly include long-term pain, chronic fatigue, dizziness, palpitations and digestive disorders.
We feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with Loretta in raising awareness of EDS and people living with chronic illness.
From Friday 26 November we will be offering @the.nil.by.mouth.foodie dishes on our cafe menu. All plant-based, gluten free and delicious!
